Thanksgiving at Meliza's house• Nov. 23, 2006

Meliza hosted Thanksgiving dinner this year at her new home in Long Beach, CA. She has been working very hard to restore an old 1930's Spanish home. A newly remodeled kitchen made it's debut this year, complete with state of the art stainless steel appliances and custom exotic zebra wood cabinets, all designed by Meliza herself. Dinner was a success, everyone enjoyed sharing a wonderful home-cooked meal together. Of course it wouldn't be Thanksgiving if you don't have at least one dish that was just slightly overcooked (more like burnt to a crisp beyond recognition!) and a dash of family drama. We decided to make a weekend out of it and visited the famous Aquarium of the Pacific the next day. Jordan handled the road trip very well and felt right at home at his Auntie Meliza's house!
